St Matthew Housing (SMH) is a housing association and charity that provides accommodation and support to people who are homeless or unsuitably housed throughout East Anglia and the East Midlands. SMH also provides a floating support service to people who need support to maintain their tenancies.
The Malthouse Project is publicly funded and is run by St Matthew Housing.
The project opens up many new services and facilities to the local community and is a way for people who have been excluded from mainstream education and training because of illness, disability or other barriers, to gain a second chance.
By working in partnership with education providers, volunteer services and tourism groups, The Malthouse Project offers visitors, volunteers, students, SMH residents and service users, staff at St Matthew Housing and the local community a wealth of opportunities and facilities to utilise.
All income generated from The Malthouse Project funds the social objectives of the project.
